OFA Shoulders: Ditto was diagnosed with unilateral shoulder OCD in March of 2023 and had surgery on that shoulder. The surgery was extremely successful, and he has had a blossoming disc career since!

Accomplishments

Ditto

My love of Border Collies started back in 2014, when I got my first BC, Gunner. Between his adorable freckles and amazing personality, i was hooked on the breed forever. I knew I would love to own another one just like him (but with a bit more drive and athletic ability) one day, but my expectations were high and I wasn’t sure I would ever find another perfect dog.

Fast forward 8 years, the stars aligned and somehow I was lucky enough to gain yet another heart dog, Ditto; affectionately known as Piddle. He is intuitive, spicy, incredibly loving, and equally as talented. To me, he has been an incredibly easy dog to live with and train; he is friendly with people and neutral with dogs, travels incredibly well, has an impeccable off switch and drive to work for food and toys. He had a later start to his sport career due to his shoulder OCD, but he has a heart of gold and consistently puts up competitive scores against tough competition despite his first competition being in September of 2023.

We spend most of our time hiking, training fun tricks, and competing in sports. Disc and dock diving are our main focus, and we train agility on the side. He enjoys everything we do and his zest for live is contagious. I can’t wait to see where the next few years take us! 💙

More recently, Ditto participated in his first freestyle seminar with AGT winner, Adrian Stoica! Ditto was an amazing teammate all weekend, in and out of disc. He learned so many skills and experienced so many new things! We’re looking forward to applying our new skills to our freestyle routine and officially debuting in higher divisions in January! - Landrie Knowlton

Ditto attended his first UpDif in 2024 and did incredible despite the wind and rain conditions! They had an incredible round of Frizgility Level 2, with a 235, just 5 points shy of making top 10, getting 15th place overall for the game at the event. He also had an impressive round of Time Warp with a 77!
